Good evening,
I notified the teachers and staff this would be my last year as principal of Horizon Montessori Public Schools-Pearland. I have accepted the position of Superintendent of Schools for Horizon Montessori Public Schools. I will continue to serve the students of HMPS-Pearland as well as the students across the district. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve this great learning community. Serving as the principal of HMPS-Pearland has been a joy and an honor. HMPS-Pearland is building a culture of collaboration and we will ensure the next leader embodies the qualities to continue to serve and meet our students’ needs.
To ensure a smooth transition for the campus and district, I will complete my responsibilities as principal for the remainder of the year. I will officially assume my new role as Superintendent of Schools on August 16, 2023. I am humbled and appreciative that the school board has entrusted me to help grow, prosper, and carry on HMPS’ legacy.
I look forward to continuing to serve HMPS-Pearland and the entire HMPS community. We will work tirelessly to continue to build a culture of excellence.
