Hello, Owl Family!

I'm Ms. German. This is my third year working as a Special Education Aide at Horizon. I have the pleasure of working with our students in a variety of classrooms and grade levels.

Prior to landing at Horizon, I spent most of my career working in Behavioral Healthcare, helping adults with disabilities secure and sustain employment, and pursue higher educational goals. Now, I'm contemplating an 'encore' career working as a Middle School Teacher. I have a degree in Education. Earning my Texas Teacher's Certification is a work in progress.

There is never a dull moment in my day. I enjoy building relationships with our students and finding creative strategies to help them learn a concept that may have been challenging for them at the start. Working individually with a student as well as in small group settings is the spice of school life!
